Current Registrations

FH2 High School - Fall 2026

Forest Hills Field Hockey high school teams participate in the O-K Conference, within the Michigan High School Athletic Association. Our program is not funded by the school district; as a result, payment for the season goes to our club and not to the district.

Our goal is to maintain a "no-cut" policy with open registration for players attending one of the three Forest Hills high schools (Central, Northern, Eastern). Players from other schools are encouraged to contact their athletic director about arranging a co-op agreement with another school sponsoring field hockey.

Because we did not have numbers for a team in 2025, and are still working to find a permanent head coach, we anticipate that the 2026 season will focus on development, with a limited number of games. Athletes new to field hockey are encouraged to join, as well as those who wish to pick up another sport for conditioning or fun.

FINAL FORMS: All medical and other paperwork is managed through the FHPS FinalForms system. A link will be included in your registration confirmation email. No player can participate in team activities until their forms have been submitted and cleared by the school district. A physical must be submitted to the school on Final Forms. Do NOT pay the Final Forms participation fee.

FH2 Middle School - Fall 2026

Welcome! This is the place to sign up for Forest Hills Field Hockey's middle school programs for grades 5-8.

As a club program, registration is open to players from any school district. Our aim is to offer two practices each week, with a few games against other local schools, providing flexibility for players to participate in other activities during the season. Most practices will be during shared time with our high school teams at Forest Hills Central High School at the Lower Turf (next to the stadium, closer to the Middle School).

USA FIELD HOCKEY MEMBERSHIP: For insurance purposes, all players must be active members of USA Field Hockey. USAFH membership provides additional benefits, and is also required to participate in many offseason events/programs with other organizations. If you do not have a membership, you may leave this blank for now, but will be required to provide the membership number before participating in activities. The cost of membership is $25 for U-12 athletes, and $60 for U-19.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: Our club has never turned a player away due to financial need. Families are encouraged to check out programs such as Every Kid Sports, which offers assistance with a wide variety of sports programs. Scholarships are approved by the board based on the number of requests each season. Reach out to [email protected] with questions.

2026 Fall Commitment

The purpose of this registration is to determine how many teams our club can support at the high school (grades 9-12) and middle school (grades 5-8) levels for Fall 2026. Planning decisions will be made on the basis of these registrations, so please sign up only if you plan to play. Because field hockey is not sponsored by the school district, there will be an additional registration step (with cost) once we determine our numbers for the fall. We anticipate that the cost for high school will be around $400, and middle school around $250.
