FH2 Families,

Here is the latest news from Forest Hills Field Hockey:

The first day of high school field hockey is only three weeks away, with the middle school season close behind! Here are some important reminders, along with a great opportunity for new players this Sunday:

FREE Field Hockey Open House
Have a friend who might be interested in playing this fall? This event is FREE for students in any school district, ages 7+ with equipment provided.

High School Registration

Don't wait- sign up now so we don't have to chase down your paperwork on the first day of tryouts :-) Remember, in order to participate in ANY activities, you must complete:
- FH2 registration and payment
- FHPS FinalForms waivers and information, including uploading your physical
- Note: Physicals must be dated AFTER April 15, 2023 to be valid for next school year.
- USA Field Hockey membership will NOT be required for high school play this year.

Middle School Registration

The fall schedule for middle school will be posted soon. Reminders:
- Middle school activities will begin the first week of school (August 21).
- Register and pay through the FH2 website
- Physical/FinalForms registration are NOT required for middle school
- USA Field Hockey membership IS required for middle school

Elementary School Registration

We are still working on plans for the youngest age group; it will likely be run by the Mary Free Bed YMCA, similar to the program we ran last spring.

Coaches Needed!

Forest Hills Field Hockey is looking for parents, alumni, or other community members interested in coaching, as we will be losing two of our high school assistants this season. Please contact Coach Andrea or Coach Gabi if interested.

Exchange Student Opportunity
Our local coordinator at FLAG International recently contacted us about a student from France they are looking to place this fall - she is a field hockey player, so she asked if we could send out a note. Our club has had many great experiences with exchange student players!
