Registration is now open for the 2022 Meijer State Games of Michigan field hockey tournament

Registration is now open for the 2022 Meijer State Games of Michigan field hockey tournament, coming June 25 & 26 to Forest Hills Central High School in Grand Rapids. This is poised to be one of the biggest single field hockey events EVER in the state, thanks to support from the USA Field Hockey Michigan chapter, Great Lakes Regional Field Hockey, the Michigan High School Field Hockey Coaches Association, and others.

All the details for the event can be found here. You can register a full team, or players may sign up as 'free agents' and be assigned to teams as space is available. Players and teams from neighboring states/provinces (Ontario, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, and Wisconsin) are welcome too! Grand Rapids has TONS of things to do when you are not competing, and is a short drive from Lake Michigan beaches as well.

Registration is available in the following age groups... all play will be on Forest Hills Central's two turf fields:

10U coed - 5v5 - no goalkeepers
14U coed - 7v7 - goalkeepers optional
High School - 7v7 w/ goalkeepers
Adult Casual - Pick-up style play  - no goalkeepers
Adult Competitive - 7v7 play - goalkeepers optional

Schedules will vary depending on the number of registrations, however the current plan is to have the 10U, 14U, and Adult Casual groups focused on Saturday with the High School and Adult Competitive groups playing mostly on Sunday.

Opening Ceremonies, featuring the Parade of Athletes, will take place Friday evening at the nearby Meijer Sports Complex. We would love to show off the growth of our sport by having hundreds of athletes participating!
